Discovering the Rock of Ages
Gold Rush took our kids from Hilliard, Ohio and dropped them smack dab into the Old West at the height of the gold rush. And just like the rush of 1849, there was plenty of excitement around this place! But with each lesson heard, the kids discovered why the greatest treasure ever found wasn’t gold, but rather the Rock of Ages, Jesus Christ.
It was five fun-filled, action-packed days of non-stop energy…games, crafts, lessons and drama, not to mention the singing. There’s nothing like seeing and hearing 1,200 kids jumping and singing at the top of their lungs!
VBS at Northwest is an amazing thing…it really is something you have to see to believe. And it doesn’t happen without the hundreds of volunteers that gave of their time before and during VBS to help make this a week these kids won’t soon forget! Thank you for all you did—we’ll see you next year!
