Prison Ministry Opportunity

We’re gathering men and women to serve at Beyond The Walls Day of Champions, at area prison facilities. The event uses athletes, entertainers, and motorcycles to draw the inmates onto the recreation yard, where they will hear a Christian testimony. Then the volunteers get to share a simple Gospel tract.

This event is hosted by former Cleveland Brown, Bill Glass’ ministry, Behind The Walls. It started in July 1972, in Marion… this is its 51st year!

You’ll attend a training dinner and worship on Friday evening, with the event on Saturday.

• Register by Sunday, July 30
  • Please allow yourself some time for the registration process. You’ll set up an account on the Bill Glass Behind The Walls website, answer a thorough questionnaire, permit a background check, and pay a $25 registration fee.
• Training: Friday, August 18, 5:30pm sharp (at Northwest)
• Event: Saturday, August 19, 7am–3:30pm (Location TBD)
