Coats for Kids

Providing new winter coats to the neediest kids in Hilliard

With the colder temperatures around the corner, we have a special opportunity to help out students in need in our Hilliard community. This fall we’re collecting new coats for students in need at Avery & Beacon Elementary schools and for Hilliard Police’s Cram the Cruiser.

We’ll have cards in the foyer beginning Sunday, November 12, indicating the size, gender, and school of the specific student you’re buying for. After you take a card, you’ll purchase the winter coat and bring it back to the church—with the card—by Sunday, November 26.

Coat Drive Update

All tags asking for specific sizes of coats for Avery & Beacon students have been claimed. Those coats are due back by Sunday, November 26.

Any additional new children’s coats we receive will be given to Cram the Cruiser and will be due by Sunday, December 3.

Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?And the King will answer and say to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.

Jesus, Matthew 25:37–40
