Coats for Kids
With the colder temperatures around the corner, we have a special opportunity to help out students in need in our Hilliard community. This year we worked with school principals and counselors to help their students in great need. The goal is for each school in Hilliard—elementary, middle, and high schools—to receive ten coats from our church family. That’s 200 coats for 200 specific students.
We’ll have cards in the foyer beginning Sunday, October 30, indicating the size, gender, and school of the specific student you’re buying for. After you take a card, you’ll purchase the winter coat and bring it back to the church—with the card—by Sunday, November 13.
“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’”—Jesus, Matthew 25:37–40
