Coats for Kids

Between pumpkin patches, pumpkin lattes and pumpkin pies, there’s no hiding that the season of fall has arrived. And, as crazy as it sounds, winter is right around the corner.

With the falling temperatures comes a chilling reminder for many families. They need coats for their kids but can’t afford them.

Our church family has the opportunity to help kids in need right here in Hilliard. Beginning Sunday, October 7, we will be collecting new winter coats, hats, and gloves for school-aged boys and girls.

Pick up a pink or blue hanger in the foyer and return it with a new coat by Sunday, November 11.

The winter-wear will be delivered to local Hilliard schools—we’ve partnered with Brown Elementary, Horizon Elementary, and Station Sixth Grade—to be distributed to students in need before the cold weather hits.
