What is your favorite scripture?

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. Jeremiah 17:7–8

What do you like about Northwest? The never-wavering preaching of God’s Word, the many opportunities to serve locally and abroad, and the people I get to serve with on Sundays and through various ministries.

What is your favorite scripture? I’d have to say that at this stage in my life, Proverbs 3:5–6 are my favorite verses.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

Proverbs 3:5–6

What do you like about Northwest? First and foremost, it is the unashamed preaching of the Word of God. God’s truth is spoken from the pulpit, and lost souls are saved regularly as a result! It is also the people of Northwest Bible who are genuine, loving, and caring. There is also a heart for the lost in this church. Whether in Hilliard, Ohio, or across the globe, Northwest Bible embraces and engages in the great commission to seek the lost for Jesus’ sake.

When did you accept Christ? I accepted Christ at a church camp in Carrolton, Ohio, when I was 15. I struggled with walking the walk until I was in my mid-twenties when God finally revealed to me that I could truly have a relationship with Him. His Word became vibrant and new.

Family: Lisa and I married in 1996. We have an adult daughter, Amanda, and her husband Philip Bryant. Our first grandchild (boy) is due March 12!
