Velocity Students

Leading students to own their faith
Teenage students at Velocity

There are so many things competing for students’ attention.

It would be easy to miss the one thing that mattered most. That’s why we’ve designed our Velocity Middle and High School Ministry. We’re here to help students take ownership of their faith. We want to see students love God and have a growing relationship with Him. We want to see students get connected and learn to care for others. We want to see students grow to see how God is working in the world around them, and then go all-in with their faith and move to be part of what God is doing!

Velocity kicks off at 5:30pm on Sunday nights during the school year. We have games, loud and exciting worship, a message that’s going to lead you to the truth of God’s Word, and a time to connect with other students in small groups.

Sunday nights at Velocity

  • 5:30pm, hangout, games, and community!
  • 6pm, kicking off the night with worship music.
  • 6:30pm, digging into what God has to say about real-life issues, like friendships, honesty, relationships, purpose, and so much more.
  • 7pm, honest small group discussion time based on the evening’s message and practical questions.
  • 7:45pm, we’re finished, ready, and equipped for the week ahead.

And every step of the way, we have incredible leaders who are there to listen, build into students, point to the truth of God’s Word, and come alongside parents.

Hey! I’m Austin.

I have the priveledge of pastoring the middle and high school students here at Northwest. My passion is to connect with students—making them feel seen, heard, and understood. I love to see students come to know God and make Him known.
