1 Peter
“Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ: to the chosen, living as exiles…” With these words, Peter opened his letter to followers of Jesus who were spread out and isolated, struggling and suffering.
The message Peter wrote back then… inspired by the Spirit of God… is a message God still means for us now.
Because, as believers, we will experience suffering. But it’s not what it seems. Suffering is not being done to us… it’s for us. And as we move through 1 Peter we’ll see that even when we suffer, we’re called to live well.
We’re called to live like Jesus.
