Good Friday Communion Service
At the very center of our beliefs at Northwest is what Jesus did for each of us when He died on the cross. It’s why on Friday, April 2, we’re going to have a special Good Friday communion service.
This communion service will be a time for our church family to come together and focus on the gift of Jesus’ death and what that means for each of us as believers. For us, this time is set apart. It’s a sacred… holy… intentional… time to reflect on all that Jesus has done for us.
On that Friday night, the entire focus is going to be on Jesus and you’ll see there’s a reason why we call this one Friday of the year “Good Friday.”
Communion in-person and online
But where we are in 2021, we fully understand that so many of our church family are not yet able to attend services in-person. And while we wish we could all celebrate Good Friday in-person with communion, we want to provide a way for those of our family who are worshipping with us at home to be able to be part.
So for those who cannot worship with us in-person, you can request your communion elements here, and then join our livestream at 7pm as Pastor leads our church family… both in-person and at home… in this special communion service.
For your kiddos
The adults will be taking communion and reflecting on Jesus’ crucifixion. For your kids that aren’t quite ready for that yet, we’ve got stuff geared just for them. RSVP for children’s ministry on Good Friday will open on Monday, March 29 at 8am, and close on Thursday, April 1 at 8pm.
