ReFuel Beach Camp
ReFuel Beach Camp is just around the corner. We’re heading back to Myrtle Beach June 18–23. Camp is a time for students to grow in their relationship with Jesus and grow as a community with one another.
Your student has made it through a long school year: exams, pressures to perform, demands of extracurricular activities, stress, and a thousand other things. There’s no better way for them to ReFuel than to attend beach camp, be transformed by God’s Word and come back changed forever. It will be the highlight of their summer!

Theme: The Word
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. Psalm 119:105
Despite the claims of naysayers, God’s Word is entirely true, without error (Psalm 19:7–8) and speaks on faith and life with complete authority (1 Thessalonians 2:13). Though written over thousands of years through dozens of divinely inspired authors (2 Peter 1:20–21), the Bible—from Genesis to Revelation—is a cohesive collection (Matthew 5:18) that points to the redemptive work of Jesus Christ (Luke 24:27). While everything else on earth changes (2 Corinthians 4:18), God’s Word remains constant and forever true (Matthew 24:35).
Unfortunately, modern society constantly dismisses the Bible. Students today are confused about the Bible’s relevance to their daily lives. For this reason, Student Life Camp 2017 will closely examine God’s Word. Students will see the Bible as living and inspired by God (Hebrews 4:12), speaking to all peoples throughout history including today (Isaiah 40:8). They will understand that the Bible is the only perfect source of truth because it contains the very wisdom of God for daily living and eternal life with Him (2 Timothy 3:14–15).
Finally, students will clearly hear that simply knowing God’s Word isn’t enough. It requires an active response by living out it’s instruction (Matthew 7:24) and telling others about it’s life-transforming message of salvation through Jesus Christ (Mark 16:15).
Students will explore a different aspect of God’s Word each day and return home with a renewed vision of and appreciation for Scripture.
- Day 1 – We can trust God’s Word. (2 Timothy 3:16–17)
- Day 2 – God’s Word points to Jesus. (Luke 24:27)
- Day 3 – God’s Word speaks to our lives today. (Hebrews 4:12)
- Day 4 – God’s Word demands our response. (James 1:22)
