Velocity Arise Event
Arise is an exciting and game-filled event bringing together 300 Hilliard-area students from local churches. It kicks off at Northwest Bible Church and wraps up at Dave & Buster’s in Hilliard.
- Who: Hilliard-area students in grades 7–12
- What: Youth rally at Northwest with exciting icebreakers, prizes, lively worship, and a dynamic speaker, followed by games, challenges, food (included in event cost), and competitions at Dave & Buster’s
- When:
- 3:30–5:20pm: Youth rally at Northwest Bible Church
- 5:30pm: Leave for Dave & Buster’s (Students with licenses can drive themselves/siblings, otherwise leaders will drive students in cars or church vans)
- 6pm: Food buffet opens and game cards handed out
- 10:30pm: Event ends and students need to be picked up at Dave & Buster’s in Hilliard
- Cost: $30 due at check-in (please bring exact cash or a check made out to “Northwest Bible Church”)
- Waiver: Each student must complete a current 2018/2019 school year Velocity waiver to participate
Note that students will NOT be allowed to exit Dave & Buster’s during this event unless it is to officially leave for the evening. We will have adults from our security team monitoring the doors all evening.
You don’t have to be a Velocity student to attend this event. Arise is open to any teenager who would like to hang out and have a great, safe and wholesome time with other students their age.
